Which platforms does WorkPulse support?

The desktop agent runs on macOS today, with Windows coming soon. The supervisor dashboard works in any modern browser — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.

How is employee data protected?

Every byte is encrypted: AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit. Screenshots live in private S3-compatible storage. Local agent data is encrypted with keys stored in the macOS Keychain — even a stolen laptop leaks nothing.

Do employees know they are being monitored?

By default, yes. WorkPulse includes a first-run onboarding wizard, a consent screen, and a live status window. If your org policy allows, you can enable silent mode for invisible monitoring.

Can I customize what gets tracked per team or agent?

Yes. Every feature — screenshots, app tracking, webcam snapshots, screen recording, productivity scoring, silent mode — can be toggled on or off per team or for individual agents. Run one team in silent mode with full tracking and another in visible mode with screenshots disabled. Your compliance policies, your rules.

How does pricing work?

$5 per active seat per month. An active seat is an agent or computer that tracks 32 or more hours of activity in a billing month. Register as many agents as you want — you only get billed for the ones that actually work. Every feature is included from day one. No tiers, no per-feature upsells.

What counts as an active seat?

Any agent (user or computer) that logs 32 or more hours of tracked activity in a billing month. If someone logs 10 hours, that seat is free. If they log 32+, it costs $5. The threshold is based on actual keyboard, mouse, and app activity — not just time with the agent installed.

Are there any add-ons?

Only one: extended data retention. By default, activity data is stored for 90 days at no extra cost. If you need longer history, you can extend to 6 months (+$1/seat), 1 year (+$2/seat), or unlimited (+$3/seat). That is the only add-on — everything else is included.

Is there a minimum number of users?

No. Whether you have 5 agents or 500, you pay the same $5 per active seat. No minimums, no enterprise-only features locked behind sales calls.

Do I need to host anything?

No. WorkPulse is fully cloud-hosted. Install the desktop agent, open the dashboard in your browser, and you are up and running.

What happens when an employee loses connectivity?

The agent keeps tracking locally with an encrypted offline queue. The moment connectivity returns, everything syncs — zero data loss, zero manual intervention.

How do I get started?
