Why WorkPulse exists

Employee monitoring did not need another tool. It needed a different set of defaults.

WorkPulse is agent monitoring software for call centers and BPOs, built and run by Andrés Martínez. It exists because the monitoring category has three defaults that punish exactly the teams that need it most: pricing per registered user, features gated behind tiers, and surveillance-first design that burns agent trust.

The problem with the category

Call centers staff in a way per-user pricing was never designed for. Rosters churn: training classes ramp up, agents roll off programs, seasonal benches sit idle for months. Tools that bill every registered user charge for all of it, and then charge again, per feature, as you climb their tiers.

Meanwhile the actual problem supervisors have is simple: the floor went remote, and they cannot see it anymore. Hours are self-reported. Adherence arrives a day late. Disputes end in stalemate because nobody has evidence.

The defaults we changed

WorkPulse bills only active seats, meaning agents with 24 or more tracked hours in a billing month. The bench is free, the training class is free, and every feature ships to every customer at $7 per seat. There is no upsell matrix.

And monitoring is consent-first by default: agents see a consent screen and a live status window, sensitive apps are blurred on the device before anything uploads, tracking only runs during checked-in shifts, and every supervisor access is audit-logged. Silent mode exists for organizations whose policy and jurisdiction permit it, as an explicit choice, never a default.

Who builds it

WorkPulse is built by Andrés Martínez, its founder. Being small is a feature here: there is no sales funnel between you and the person who writes the code. If something is broken, confusing, or missing, the report lands directly with the person who can fix it.

Three commitments

Consent-first by default

Agents know what is tracked. Sensitive content is blurred on-device. Access is logged.

Pay for work, not roster

Only seats with 24+ tracked hours a month are billed. Everything else is free.

Every feature, every customer

One plan at $7. No tiers, no per-feature upsells, no enterprise-only gates.
